Just a month past, the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce (SNVCC) had the pleasure of uniting our vibrant community for a remarkable event—a testament to the strength and spirit of collaboration within our veteran community. Held in the plush Bel-Aire Lounge of the newly inaugurated Durango Resort and Casino, this Quarterly Business Mixer was not only a kickoff to the new year but also a celebration of partnership and shared goals.

The event shone a spotlight on the Merging Vets and Players (MVP) Las Vegas chapter, chosen as the SNVCC’s featured nonprofit resource partner. MVP Vegas members, with their presence and personal stories, highlighted the significant change and salvation found through MVP’s efforts, emphasizing the transformative power of peer connection and support.

SNVCC events are unique, not just for their ability to connect amazing veteran (and veteran-supporter) businesses within the community but also for showcasing key nonprofit programs that serve our veterans in numerous essential ways. The Quarterly Business Mixer exemplified this, with attendees from diverse sectors coming together to weave a tighter network of support and opportunity.

As we reflect on the success of this recent gathering and look ahead, we’re invigorated by the promise of more to come. The SNVCC is more than an organization; it’s a community catalyst, sparking initiatives that enrich lives and strengthen bonds. Whether you’re a veteran, a business owner, or a community member eager to contribute, we welcome you to join us at future events.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and contribute. Together, we’re not just building networks; we’re fostering a legacy of service and support that transcends boundaries.

For those inspired to get involved, remember, our door is always open. Reach out, and let’s continue to serve and succeed, together.
