In Las Vegas this past January, we witnessed the spirit of community and service come alive as part of The Mission Continues’ annual MLK Legacy of Service campaign. It was a day of gratitude and partnership, reflecting on the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who dedicated their weekend to making a difference, including our friends from Merging Vets and Players, Charlie-Mike Foundation, Veterans Upward Bound, UNLV RebelVet Student Organization, and the Southern Nevada Veterans Chamber of Commerce. A special shoutout to Grand Canyon University and Purple Pricing for providing Cheba Hut Toasted Subs, keeping everyone energized and happy.

This year, we built on the momentum of our last local service project, enhancing our community ties by partnering with The LGBTQ Center of Southern Nevada. Our collective efforts focused on addressing the facility’s needs, showcasing the power of teamwork and shared goals.

The Mission Continues’ Vegas platoon has fostered incredible relationships within the community, supporting numerous organizations since its arrival. We’re excited about what the future holds and invite you to join our journey of service.
