For 2025 Las Vegas Platoon 9/11 campaign, we are excited to partner with CCSD Middle School, KO Knudsen Academy of the Arts, to work together to create a rejuvenated environment for our youth and future artists, musicians, and performers to grow and learn! We will be bringing a great friend and community favorite, USMC Veteran and gardening guru, Matt Nelson to share guidance on improving quality of irrigation systems and soil quality for the student garden at KO Knudsen. We will also be gathering materials and willing volunteers to construct benches and tables for our student to better learn concepts in outdoor gardening at KO Knudsen. In addition, we will be bringing volunteers together to help bring to new life the KO Knudsen training theater room, so our young performers can have the setting they want and need to grow and flourish! Events Honor Veterans, Their Service

National World War II Memorial
Several events honoring America’s veterans are scheduled for Nov. 11 in and around Washington, D.C. Here’s a look at some key Veterans Day events and how to participate. At 9 a.m., a ceremony at the National World War II Memorial will honor the more than 16 million men and women who served during World War II. Hosted by the Friends of the National World War II Memorial, the event will feature World War II veterans who will place wreaths at the memorial’s Freedom Wall in remembrance of the more than 400,000 Americans and 60 million people killed worldwide during the deadliest military conflict in human history. The 69th annual National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery will begin at 11 a.m. The U.S Army Military District of Washington will conduct a Presidential Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, followed by an observance program in the cemetery’s Memorial Amphitheater. Wreaths Across America- Veterans Memorial Cemetery Cleanup Community Effort

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 Leading up to 2025 Wreaths Across America at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (in Boulder City, NV), we will be gathering dedicated volunteers for the 3rd year in a row to assist with the landscaping staff with preparing the cemetery grounds with the added cleanup efforts before the southern Nevada WAA ceremony on Saturday December 13. The Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery is the 2nd largest veterans memorial cemetery in the United States, so we want to provide as much support as we possibly can! With great community partners like Caesars Entertainment and Credit One Bank on our side for this service event, along with an amazing platoon of Las Vegas platoon members, we will make a positive impact TOGETHER for an important yearly ceremony to honor our southern Nevada heroes who have been laid to rest in our community.
